I have been seen here a 4 times in the last year. The wait has never been long. I have always been treated very well by staff and doctors. This is the hospital I prefer to go to, even though there are others closer to my home.
With a special needs kid with CHD I've spent loads of time in hospitals I know how they function because it was required of me to be a good advocate for my son. I wouldn't take my damn goldfish to st. Elizabeth.
There were no registars at the front desk only two volunteers when I walked in in the morning who didn't know anything but how to get to any location.
This disparages the competent and passionate staff you do have present at your hospital. Your standards and business operations allow you to hire and keep on people who have no business in the medical industry.
My boyfriend is undergoing chemo treatments at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas and I cannot begin to express how Amazing the care is that he is receiving! The nurses on the Fourth floor are taking such good care of him! Gretchen and Karen are Incredible! They sincerely care for their patients. They are not only helping my boyfriend through this hard and emotional journey..but me as well. They have become very important to us and his recovery! It made my heart melt to see Gretchen give him a hug before she left for the day and when Karen stood by his bedside for hours to make sure he handled a new treatment well. I don't know how we would be getting through this without them! They are a true blessing!!!
been to the er a few times they rush us out had to go back a few times to resolve a problem they do it to make money and there dumb and dont care wouldnt recommend
Avoid the ER at this place. It's only five more minutes to get to Edgewood and well worth the effort to get there.
Pre-surgery a nurse and a doctor discussed an anesthesia method that I wasn't to receive, did not receive, as it was not in my charts. Post-surgery when I was not entirely competent they let my wife and I leave with scripts that weren't signed by doctor so I had no medication post op.
For a little over an hour operation time it took an entire 12 hours of the day to complete. Including two and a half hours my wife went back to Kentucky to get the scripts then to the pharmacy while I was at home post-op watching my special needs kid and my daughter.
I can confidently say that a decent portion of the staff, enough to make a difference, at st. Elizabeth don't have enough passion or focus on their job to be competent at what they do.
My surgeon operates out of this location on certain days of the week.
